Synopsis

Dylan is getting married, and Dylan is dying. In the hours leading up to his wedding, Dylan reflects on his life as he desperately tries to write his own eulogy. With the help of his sister, Ruth, and his partner, Trevor, Dylan tries to come to terms with a life cut short. Based on true events, The Last Party is about a couple’s relationship being turned upside down when one of them is diagnosed with brain cancer, and the tension, frustration, hilarity, poignancy and love that ensues. The Last Party is a touching and funny new musical about making the most of your life with whatever time you have left.
